Branch is oblivious he is twice the size of his friends. He's happily resting in the cool grass.
Emma combing and primping the puppies. Coaxing those shy ones to come out of their shells. They are coming out of their last fear stage, after this week they should really start hamming it up!
Pete and repeat were in a boat...O.k., seriously, I'm having a hard time getting these little ones straight because they are SO similar! In the last picture post welcoming these little ones I purposefully left out Merlot because he is a true runt and I wanted to make sure he was not weak. Well, he's not weak, quite the contrary. He holds his own and throws his weight around quite well, so here he is!
Char(f), Zin(m) Riesling(m) and Merlot(m) are AVAILABLE
First off, let me begin by saying we love children, after all, we have 9 of them. We have been asked several times for our position on children and dogs as some of our customers have been turned away from other breeders for the simple fact....they have children.
We consider this close-minded to lump all children into the catagory of Puppy Abusers. This is just not true. All children whose families aquire a puppy must be taught before the puppy comes in to the home, to first, be caaaaalm with the puppy. Always talk softly and act softly. Puppies feed off energy and get riled up quite easily...this isn't a good thing with children. Puppies will get accidentally stepped on, dropped, or sat upon causing serious injury or death. Not to mention the emotional trauma to the child.
Your young children must be properly supervised at all times and all children trained how to handle a puppy correctly. If you DON'T want a puppy that bites, snaps, is hard to potty train or an I-gotta-lock-him-in-the-bathroom-he's-driving-me-crazy type of puppy...then train your children to love on the puppy with gentle, soft words and actions. Crate train to give quiet time. Set the example for the children to imitate. Children learn best by observing and imitating, not lectures or a quick spoken list of rules. Be patient.
We give our puppies the best possible start, a better start than most breeders can offer, in the fact that our puppies are socialized with children who love a good playtime and never allow biting(but we do allow kisses!) or rough play. What you expect from your children will make, or break, a great family dog. Puppies are very impressionable and resilient, just have fun with them and your children in a controlled environment.

"She did whine a little bit the first night, but it wasn't anything that we weren't prepared for. She seems to be adjusting well. :) We put her in a covered wire kennel/crate next to our bed at night...We love her SOOOOO MUCH! :D She is adorable and we are so glad to finally have her! She has the sweetest personality and is quite possibly the cutest puppy my wife and I have ever seen in our lives!
Thank you guys for putting such thought, work, and love into breeding these wonderful dogs!" ~ JT, Washington
Are you a puppy mill or broker? No and no. I have five, just five, little girls that we breed and one male. We call them by name, they run to us for snuggles and are our pets. They live in spacious, individual kennels with indoor/outdoor access. Our puppies are whelped under careful supervision, but not unneeded intervention. Then raised with daily care and nurturing.
Our Guarantee to You
•Have a 7 DAY 100% puppy back/money back written guarantee if puppy is deemed unhealthy in ANY WAY by your vet. Buy with confidence, have peace of mind.
•Come with a portfolio containing a detailed health record for your vet & information to start your pup out right. This helps to make the transition from our home to yours an easy one.
•Are fully weaned and sent home with a starter bag of puppy's food and a SCENTED blanket from mama.
•They are socialized with respectful supervised children, adults, dogs big and small. We get wonderful compliments on our family friendly dogs. They run to you, not away from you. It is up to you to continue that wonderful start.
•Due to a recent increase in reactions, we will NOT give first shots. We will NOT immunize before 12 weeks of age, therefore this responsibility falls on you to carry out. Our puppies will arrive with robust, uncompromised immune systems. We recommend keeping your puppy away from dog parks, rest stops and other areas visited by many dogs that may increase risk of any disease.
•Are Worm-free! Wormed on strict schedule using Fenbendazole starting at 4 weeks of age. Worms in puppies can lead to more problems than just weight loss. Diarrhea, coughing, vomiting are common. Only healthy, round food filled bellies here!
•ARE easily paper/puppy pad trained to keep those first messes where you'd like them.
•Have had all dew claws removed. This prevents the dog from three things. 1. A forgotten ingrown dewclaw nail can grow in a tight circle and then penetrate the leg. 2. Having a now costly surgery later in life to have them removed. 3. Having the dog chew them off himself...yuck & infection.
•Mamma and Papa are owned and kept here with us! With notice, you are welcome to meet both.
